Bridal Gift Ideas

Generally, toasters, mixers, and blenders are out. Unique gifts that match the personalities, hobbies and interests, or their lifestyle is your best bet when sorting through and choosing a wedding gift.
Themed gift baskets are often a safe bet. You could match the basket to their wedding theme, their favorite foods, package it with products based on their honeymoon destination, or fill it with interesting selections to match a favorite hobby.
How about regional bridal gift ideas? Create your own gift basket or choose products that reflect the city or town that the couple lives in. You could also focus on a country that they both talk about visiting or have visited in the past - one that holds special memories for them.
Food items are something that may be appreciated as well, especially if one or both of the recipients likes to cook. A selection of flavored oils and vinegars is a nice touch, or perhaps a presentation of various herbs and spices in pretty containers.
If you're still not sure on what to buy, ask close family members and friends about the couple's tastes in decorating, food, travel, etc. Then purchase a gift certificate based on your findings, such as a beautiful dinner at their favorite restaurant.
You can also separate the gift ideas. There is no set rule that what you buy has to be for a "couple." Many times, it's easier to find items that are appropriate as a bride's gift, while a gift for the groom will be totally different. Then just wrap them up together.
The important thing is to forget about the "traditional" wedding gifts and think outside the box as to what's available.
Bridal Gift Ideas Your Wedding Attendants
Another aspect of wedding gift giving is for the bridal couple to honor their attendants with a tolken present of appreciation for being in the wedding party. Bridemaid gifts can be anything from an elegant piece of jewelry to a lovely miniature photo album containing pictures of special times you've had together.
Groomsmen's gifts are fun to choose and can easily be chosen to fit the personality of each male attendant. Some lovely ideas are a personalized beer mug, money clip, a harmonica for the talented musician, or even a professional poker set.
Lastly, you certainly don't want to forget your cutest attendants - gifts for your ring bearer and flower girl. What better way to make them feel extra-special on this "big event" day than to present them with a small token that they will always treasure?
