Country and Western Style Wedding Invitations

There are many designs for western style wedding invitations that range from lighthearted, fun and casual to ones that reflect a more formal and classical marriage celebration.

For a classic invitation, choose cream, ecru or parchment colored backgrounds with a symbol of the west imprinted on it such as a horseshoe, cowboy boot with spurs, barn, horses, cowboy hat, stage coach or covered wagon, saddles or perhaps rope trim.

Casual country wedding invitations could include denim, calico, gingham or bandana backgrounds and be cut into one of the shapes of the western icons mentioned above. Perhaps a "wanted poster" design is something that appeals to you.

Field flowers also work well for this type of theme such as daisies, sunflowers, buttercups and other wild flowers. A scenic photo of the prairies, horses in a field or near a stream, or a photo of an old farmstead would be lovely too.
